For as long as I can remember I have had 2 recurring dreams in my life. One is that I can breath underwater. First, I will be in water for some crazy reason, then I am afraid to breath - thinking I will drown, and then I relax and realize that I will be ok. I start to breath and take in water, but am ultimately fine - relieved and go on swimming. Could never figure that out at all??
Second one is a frequent (1/yr x 15 yrs) dream. One of twisters coming at me. I used to live in this apartment building for about 10 yrs and would always look out the window and see twisters coming my way. The dream would go in slow motion as I waited for the twisters to reach me, running around panicking!!! The most that showed up in one dream were 4 at a time all coming at me. I always wake up before they reach me??
Any insight?

I believe that dreams of twisters are generally about approaching events that are challenging, emotionally draining and very stressfull. I think that your subconsious mind knows this to be true, and the result are these dreams of horrible natural disasters. I know this to be true bc I had a similar sequence of dreams for years - always leading up to some major crisis or turning point in my life. OR... these dreams are sometimes premonitions of real storms in the world. Did you ever check the newspapers right after to see if anything similar occured elsewhere?
