Does anyone have any experience with visions? I'm not talking about end of the world or prophetic visions... more like a single image of a person suddenly appearing or a scene unfolding before your eyes (similar to a dream) only you are wide awake. This has been happening to me for a long time now, but I've only recently begun to wonder what it's all about. I don't know the people I see, and I don't always recognize the settings either.

For example... a few days ago, I was sitting on the couch talking to my sister on the phone when I had this vision of a small child that I did not recognize. The child was male (how I recognized that I do not know), about 2 years old and he was sitting on the ground with one leg bent in front and one leg bent behind. He didn't have a shirt on and I could see what appeared to be a very large burn mark on his back around his left shoulder blade. He looked over his left shoulder at me and I could see so much sadness and hopelessness in his eyes. I felt like he had been abused and was pleading with me to help him.

I've ask friends and family if they have ever had these kinds of visions, but so far, no one can relate (or maybe they just don't want to admit they might be crazy like me... lol!)

VISION

Hmmm...honestly this doesn't really happen to me although I have heard about others like yourself who get these types of visions. The closest I get I think is deja vu. Definitely let me know if you piece that together though as it's quite interesting. Wish I could be more help there but....

Thanks for responding Vision. I've asked other family members and some of my closest friends... none of them have these either (or maybe they are just afraid to admit it for fear of looking crazy like me... lol!)

I'm a very spiritual person, and I've asked God to reveal the meanings of these visions to me. After thinking about it a little yesterday, the baby actually does makes some sense to me because I am dealing with a personal situation which involves a man who is haunted by child abuse. I got this feeling that maybe God was showing me truth as a reminder to be patient and understanding with this person during this difficult time in his life.

If this is the case, it kind of makes me wonder what he has been trying to get me to see through all the other visions in my past. There have been many... some I still remember, but I don't necessarily recall what I may have been going through in my life at the time.

Anyway... hopefully someday someone with more experience will read this and shed more light on it all for me.
