I often have this dream, I'm climbing stairs, but its not just any staircase, its a staircase that you would have in a tower block for example. Its a square case made from concrete with metal railings, which goes round and up to the next flight. As I'm climbing the stairs, I get to the next flight, but the stairs aren't connected, I have to climb dangerously contorting my body in all directions, to try to get to the next piece of the staircase. I'm terrified of climbing to the next level, but I can't go backwards either because the stairs are mangled and not connected at all. I've had this dream for years, along with several other recurring ones. Does anyone else dream of this?
VISION
I don't dream of stairs often although if you are having this dream for years then you really should have it looked at as it is no doubt trying to tell you something that you are not grasping as of yet. This is usually why we have recurring dreams. The mind or subcoscious is trying to tell us something, hence the repetitive nature, and usually until we confront it or resolve the issue then the dreams can stay with you forever.
If you want, post it again in "Your Dreams Revealed" but with as much detail as possible. The lighting, the temperature if there is one, time of year and time of day, any odours, sounds, people, you name it. Put it all in the dream and how you feel when you wake up from the dream and I will look at it for you when I get a chance.
Also have a look at the "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" thread. There is a group of stairwell pics there and maybe you could tell me the number of the one or two that most closely resemble the staiwell in your dreams. You really should resolve this Serenity or it may never go away.
