EXACT Futuristic dreams...So... I've had a few of these prophetic dreams myself only, not quite as vague as the other posts in this section...
Mine are straight to the point every possible detail of some conversations, some event, anything... I usually wake up and don't remember much about em other than how realistic it was. Then when the stuff actually starts in real life I already know what is about to happen and can change what I say/do to potentially sway it into a different direction, which I have done as in the dream it was a quite undesirable outcome...
It is actually pretty scary... But at the same time knowing that I can do something with a happier affect is always nice. Too bad I don't get these dreams all that much anymore, in fact I don't dream much at all anymore.
Anyone know of anything that might increase my chances of getting dreams? Would be fun to see if I could spur more of these prophetic dreams! See how far I could take it! Change the world in my own little way... TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!

Would be handy for many things with the amount of detail I actually get out of these dreams... Maybe if I actually get a full 6-8 hours of sleep I might actually dream more huh?
And thank you for the welcome!

Ya Mog, thanks for stopping in. And yes prophetic dreams are amazing but as you said very rare. I to feel the same way sometimes though, like deja vu but it isn't. It's as though you get to some place and situation in life and a decision has to be made but because of your dream you already know how to approach it with a smug confidence that only few could muster.
As far as having more dreams or remembering your dreams better read question #1 right here in the FAQ. It may help.

If you get any dreams though post um Mog and we'll have a look and maybe some of them will be prophetic and you can have it documented and tell us how.

Hehe I've had all sorts of dreams... haven't had many of late though probably because of the lack of sleep lately (4-6 hours most days... not good enough for me). Back when I was younger though... I got a lot more and thats where most of my prophetic dreams are from (some still haven't played out actually... although they may never happen too... who knows).
The faq is good but doesn't really give much on what helps people dream more often other than the declaring that you will dream before sleeping. I was thinking stuff that helps some people (not all obviously as everyone is different).... I recall reading playing music while you sleep as an example.
Maybe if I start dreaming again and actually remember I will post it up here...

if some never happened yet, how do you know it was a prophetic dream?
oh and btw, for as far as i know, everyone dreams, practically every night. most dreams last only several minutes, so i doubt you dont dream just cuz you dont sleep a lot. i dont sleep a lot either, but i dream quite often. (quite boring dreams mostly tho)

Yeah my dreams are rarely prophetic although some seem to be connected in a vague way. My dreams can be dull too. Only one or 2 seem actually worth talking about.

I've been having dreams like this a lot lately. I dream something is going to happen, and it does happen, almost exactly how I dreamt it. So far none have been anything I need to worry about, but now I pay attention to my dreams and hope that none will be negative.
