I've had this dream a while back, while it may seem like a real nightmare dream, when I woke up from this dream, I felt like celebrating and laughing.
It was a warm spring night in my dream and I was at my neighbor's house. We had just learn that the end of the world would it us tonight and human life would be completely extinguish after that. While we heard outside people screaming and crying in panic to find a way out. We, the four of us, stayed quietly inside the house and decided to go wild and crazy for our last evening. We each made a list of the 10 most crazy things to do we could think of. It didn't matter what it was and if we died doing it, it was just fun doing it.
So, we started to smoke weed and drinking beer. The house was completely empty except for a huge TV that was showing images of panic taking place all around the world and its sound system that was playing old rock music and a huge bed with cracking white sheets on it.
Me and J ( the other lady ) were sitting on the bed and watching the men trying to figure out how to glue their shoes to be able to walk on the ceiling. N and G ( The men ) suddenly had hammers in their hands and started to smash each other with it when I suddenly yelled, "I know! I know! I want my legs cut off! Would be an interesting feeling to feel the blood drain out of my body!"
An old rusted saw appeared in G's hand and he sew my legs just above the knee. I didn't feel any pain, it was more tickling me than anything. And then, I felt and saw the blood flowing out of my legs staining the white sheets and making me feel numb in my hips. I was fascinated by the sight as I would have imagine that blood would be poring but instead it was escaping like from a little cut. I asked for a cigarette, thinking that I may as well fill up my lungs with smoke one last time.
As I took the first drag, it was announced on the TV that the end of the world had been canceled for tonight and postponed to another yet to be decided date. I blinked as I saw N Site on top of a step ladder, forgetting his previous plan or running through the ceiling and I said... "I guess I have a big problem now uh?"
But just as I looked at my legs, they were fully grown, no marks of being cut except for the red blood that was still staining the white sheets.
I get this recurring dream every so often. It's not always the same exact dream but very similar. The differences are into the outside of the house I'm moving into, it's either an old castle in the mountains, a natural stone house in the woods or a glass house with balcony surrounding it.
The dreams always start the same way, I have to move out for a reason or another an pack and every time, I decide to leave my stuff as I have too much things to carry on with me, that everything is replaceable and that I'll simply buy new stuff.
Then, I walk inside the house and the inside is almost the same, huge rooms separated by movable walls or white curtains. There is always a lot of people inside the house, sometimes strangers, sometimes friends or family. It's always crowded and at some point, I just can't take it anymore and decide to "explore" my new house that I still know nothing about about, even if it is crowded and fully furnished.
I always end up finding a secret room, where all my abandoned stuff from my old house are. A huge bed is in the middle of the room, with white curtains that I could close if I wanted, there is desk and living room and at the end of the room, there is a huge bathroom with a Jacuzzi in the middle.
In the dreams, I end up leaving that secret room not long after discovering it, knowing that it will still be there later on.
I want to have a dream like that. A castle that is mine with free moving service to my secret room with a huge bathroom and jacuzzi. Sounds good to me. Where do I sign up? Even having movable walls sounds really neat. I think you better copyright that soon and make a few million off it before someone else does.
